Branding Campaign Sponsorship

The SVS branding campaign is two-fold:

1) outreach to referring physicians, raising awareness and educating them about advancements in vascular treatments;

2) outreach to the public (primarily to people aged 50-plus) to raise awareness and educate them about vascular health and disease including AAA, PAD, Carotid Artery Disease, and the treatments for vascular disease.

Branding initiatives may be sponsored separately or in combination to create a comprehensive campaign. In addition, they may be executed as a single promotion within a brief timeframe as part of the overall SVS branding campaign or cover a longer period of time.

Branding Opportunities Targeted to Referring Physicians
SVS has conducted research of existing and potential referring physicians to determine their level of understanding about what vascular surgeons do, i.e. both noninvasive and open procedures. The research results clearly indicate that referring physicians are unaware of all the vascular treatments performed by vascular surgeons, primarily, noninvasive treatments.

It is critical to the field of vascular surgery that SVS and its members develop and execute a comprehensive branding campaign to educate referring physicians. Reaching physicians through organizations such as the American Academy of Family Physicians with publication supplements and direct mail are possibilities.

SVS will work with sponsors on development of a campaign.

Branding Opportunities Targeted to the Public (Primarily Aged 50-plus)
Educating the public, particularly the aging baby boomers, about their vascular health is a major focus of SVS. Campaigns may include public service announcements for television and radio, newspaper columns, posters for exam rooms, and video news releases.

SVS welcomes companies to collaborate in developing campaigns.
